Need help identifying this plant

I have noticed this growing in a few places in my yard. It probably got started from seed that we feed the wild birds. Any help would be appreciated.

Wire weed. Some of my tortoises eat it, some don't.

Thanks Yvonne. My sulcata ate most of what could be found in the yard. Hopefully someone will recognize it and we will both learn something new.

Yvonne, after researching this weed I do believe it is Wireweed. The name applies to several different plants. One of them is a seaweed. This is what I have.

My sulcata does eat the new sprouts, but is not so interested in older plants. Thanks for your help.

YEA!!! I'm not losing it afterall!!! I may have looked it up with a space between wire and weed. That might give a different answer on a 'net search. Thank you for putting my mind at ease...because every time I walked past one of them growing outside I worried about what it was all over again. WIREWEED! YEA!!!
