From what I have been told, this will be a massive show that will have vendors from all over the Country. I am headed to this one. They have wil have expert speakers on Friday night. I am tempted to make it a 3 day weekend.

It has been a few years since I have attended this show but from what I recall it was really good.

I went to the NARBC show a few weekends ago in DFW. (I actually got my tortoise there.) It was a lot of fun, but like all the shows was mostly just ball pythons. There were some pretty good Reticulated Pythons (particularly courtesy of Bob Clark) and I enjoyed the couple of tables of Carpet Pythons that were there. Not that many tortoises though, although like I said I got mine at the show. (I think tortadise from this forum had a few there and had I known about this website at the time, I probably would've bought one of those.)

All that said, it seems like a lot of the better breeders of both tortoises and snakes are out on the west coast (or in Florida), so I'm a bit jealous of you guys.

Enjoy!

I can't make it this year and I'm kinda bummed. There are going to be at LEAST 10 people there that I would love to meet. I don't buy many animals at shows, so that is not why I like to go, it's really about meeting people that I only get to talk to on line or on the phone otherwise. I hope it's a great show, and everyone has a good time!

Also received a copy of "The Tortoise", published by the Conservancy Center, which has a lot of valuable information on the endangered species of turtles and tortoises.
