My sulcatas changes

It has been so much fun to see the changes my sulcata has made since I have had him in the past 2.5 months. He has such a personality and has grown a lot, as they usually do. I cant wait to see more changes.

It was quite the "rare" find! ...and thank you.
Actually, the breeder I got it from (Katherine), had to mark Dex with a dot because someone had came to look at her babies and wanted to take Dex. So, since she almost sold Dex, she decided it would be best to place that paint mark.

Well, it was because she was saving it for me. It was over a month before I finally got it. But, thank you for your compliments. I take pride in this little one!

Your lil dude looks great.how much does he weigh? how long is he ? Im trying to compare to mine . .Mine was hatched march 17 and is 3.17inch long,1.65inch tall haven't put him on the scale yet going this weekend to buy one at harbor freight ill keep you posted

Last time I measured on 8/13 he was 3.25 and I have not weighed him. He sure is getting wider! I have to recut his humid hide. I am going to measure again tomorrow, I'll post again.

Just measures him. He is 3.75" now! He's grown half an inch in 4 weeks, crazy.

Check out the differences of their carapace.

It looks like yours has a "marble" kind of artistic pattern, while mine appears to be mostly clear with a dot on near his tail.

Also check out the plastron contours. Yours also appears to have darker skin, but it could be the picture.

I think he grew over night.

The second image was taken on August 20, this one was taken this morning. It's too chilly for Dex to bask in the sun today.
