Okay everyone!
I purchased a 100g stock tank at TSC a while ago for a STEAL of 80$! I really haven't done anything with it :( But I expect things to start unfolding soon, so I'll be uploading my progress.
As of today-

-and here are my 'plans'.
See that egg crate? Support bottom with pvc piping, cut ramp.
It's secured with bids hooks o_O and it actually very sturdy.
I' planning to do some 'readjustment' to the hooks.
I need to buy some granite for the bottom, and the filter/pump duo is on it's way!
I'll using a couple MVB's, and will hopefully support water lettuce and maybe something for the bottom (probably fake, in the end:rolleyes: )
Well...
Guess we'll see how it turns out.

are you going to put some water plants in it?
Sure thing. I'm looking for some reasonably shadier plants, since the only UVB they'll be receiving is from the MVBs.
HOPEFULLY (Looking at you, turts!) I'll be able to grow water lettuce, and while my hopes aren't especially high for submerged plants, I'll try ;)

Alright! This is the finalized basking platform:D-aaaaaa.jpg nnnnn.jpg
I cheated and got some help cutting the PVC :p and everyone is quite happy with the end result. It's so sturdy! Only took a few hours.
I used a commercial file to scrape down the edges and tiswties so they don't cut themselves.

Today the filter and some tubing arrived, way earlier than expected! I also got a cute resin log for Magellan's side, but more on that later :D
If the pump comes tomorrow, I expect we'll have liftoff by the weekend!
