This is Sheliford, our first baby sulcata tortoise. He arrived yesterday afternoon. I immediately put him to soak and he went to the bathroom and then ate. I set up his box. Half cypress mulch and half St. Augustine grass. So far today he naps a lot and then gets up and moves around a bit. I saw him tearing at the grass but it seemed a bit tough for him to get a hold of. I put a dish with some rose petals and grape leaves to give him something else to eat. Oh and I have one of those tortoise blocks in there. I guess its supposed to be good for calcium. Anyway hope you enjoy the pics :)

Beautiful baby! I can't wait to see if he keeps that beautiful coloring. Remember to keep his enclosure humid to keep that smooth shell.
