My female laid her first ever eggs today. All 5 are in the incubator now they are really big I was surprised. She has been mated by a male so hopefully they are fertile. I have my hobavator set at 32 c and have put a warm sponge in there to help with humidity.

about 8-11 weeks probably more like 8 as I have it set to 32 c. I have put the eggs in vermiculite and have them buried half way in it. I have just seen pics of people resting the eggs ontop does this matter that i have buried them half way?

Thanks Tom. Do you know whether its best to lay eggs straight on top of vermiculite or is it ok to have eggs submerged half way in it?

Congratulations Daniel :)

At that temperature the eggs should take between 53 and 60 days to hatch. I would though change the sponge for a shallow, wide mouthed container for water. Doesn't make a bit of difference how deep you have the eggs in the vermiculite. Is the vermiculite dry or damp?

Danny does it matter if the vermiculite is dry?

You want the vemiculite to be damp. You should be able to squeeze a handful of it and have it clump up but not dripping wet.And like Danny said, put a bowl of water in the incubator as well.
