I've been asked to show my tank so here's she is. Inhabitants consist of gold phase hypo trans, concentric dbts & fish. I really like natural looking tanks and that's what I was going for, it's also got two basking areas. Hope u like :) pic heavy! Beautiful!!!! I'm really thinking my next foray in the tort/turt world is going to be water turtles.

Thanks everyone! The top is put together with ties and held in place with metal wire (not touching the water).

Thing it's called egg crate, it's at homedepot in the light section . It's used in Florescent lights you see in office buildings, it's the grate they put into that. I think that's what it is. Looks just like it.

I've also seen it used to make false bottom on terrariums...

At the home depot near me none of the employees knew it was called egg crate, they only knew it as Light Diffusion Panels, so if you can't find it try asking about that.

Looks awesome by the way

How did you get the black egg crate? I've only ever seen it in white..

I spray painted it when it was complete

Haha I wish I had done that when I went in, I must have spent the better part of an hour looking for it and probably talked to 2/3 of the employees working that day before I found it on my own haha.
