Recently I have been misting Nala's substrate twice daily. I've noticed tiny white mushroom that appear within hours after spraying..Question is if Nala was to Accidentally eat one and they are Toxic what should I Look out for as far as Symptoms and how Fast does it make them Sick?

I'm using 2 inches of Topsoil ( Earthgro) with 2 inches of Coco Coir on top.

I personally would not recommend topsoil, as it grows mushrooms well. More coco coir would be better in my opinion

Another reason to not use soil for tortoise substrate.

Some mushrooms are harmless and some other mushrooms that look almost identical to the harmless ones are deadly toxic. Even mycologists sometimes have a tough time telling them apart.

Thanks for the Reply's.. Looks like and Opens up like Shaggy Mane's.. I will keep checking 3x daily as I've seen them Pop Up within an Hour after spraying the Substrate.

Don't take any chances. Fix the problems that may be a threat to your tortoise.
