Is there a photo contest every month?

If so are the monthly photo contests typically posted mid to late month each month?

I can't wait to see what the new theme will be. I really want to be able to enter a pic

Oh yes..... Is there a September photo contest? I forgot all about it! Haven't seen any posts about it yet!

The "September" contest will be opened shortly, but instead of being a monthly contest, it will be our yearly contest for the calendar pictures! So it will follow a different set of rules and time line, which are being worked on now.

The monthly contests will begin again in October.
