@pfara no worries.
I measured them today. The largest is over 7 inches and the others are about 6 inches. The red one has turned three and the other two will be three in a few weeks. I forgot to weigh them but they are quite solid. It appears they are all female which I think is great. This way they can all stay together and I don't have to worry about them breeding.

Nice :D I want my reds to be all female for the same reasons. Happy belated and happy pre-emptive birthday to your girls!

CharlieM, nice to see another enthusiast living nearby. What does your set-up look like. Are they living 100% outdoors? I have two R/Fs and three enclosures currently. One inside the house. One inside my out doors patio and one in the back yard.

I have a 12' x 6' x 2' deep outdoor enclosure. The top is split lengthwise half is solid decking and the other half is a hinged lid made of 1/2 hardware cloth. They live outside all year. I added a CHE last winter and used plexiglass and tarps during our short winter. They are 6-8 inches now and will outgrow this soon. Not sure what I will build next.
I will post a photo.

I have no tops on my enclosures. One is 6'x12'. One is 3'x11 feet. L-shaped. And the third is a custom terrarium indoors. I have experienced NO predatory problems. Is there a reason why you have a lid on yours? Where in south Florida? I'm in western Sunrise.

I tried to PM you without luck. I'm in West Palm.
Raccoons are pretty common here. I could give them huge space it they didn't have a top. Next spring I planned on building them just walls and really expanding it. I have a few younger box turtles that still need tops though. They can move to the larger enclosure.
I know many people near me don't have tops. Even for box turtles.

I would love a more open type of area for the summer at least. I struggled with some pretty bad shell rot this year. @Turtlepete @allegraf and @cdmay helped me with that. All fellow South Floridians and so helpful!!!
More sunlight would help.

I really like the looks of your set ups! Very tropical. Very nice. I can see that there could be a dampness problem this time of year. I'm pretty deep in the suburbs to get the raccoons, thankfully! I've tried to P.M. you also. We might be able to help each other out in the future.

Man, Charlie.. your backyard is fricken amazing. I'm massively jealous (unless you have 4' mosquitoes and other scary bugs.. then I take back my jealousy :p). I'd say to just frame out a large area and line it with hardware cloth, but you have beautiful trees "in the way". Those are some lucky chelonians.

I'm pretty lucky. The perimeter of the yard is very private and wooded. There is a fairly large strangler fig tree above these that drops pea sized fruit that the redfoots and box turtles devour. I also can grow endless supplies of mulberry, cactus and hibiscus year round. The Mosquitos are pretty bad at times though. So far this month we've had over 9 inches of rain!!!

Bah.. rub it in why don't you. Sounds like redfoot/box turtle heaven minus the mosquitoes. They (the mosquitoes) love my California blood :(

Hey those white marks on the top of the shell.. is that normal? We just got a red foot in April. He's still little only 3 lbs 6 oz. This is our first go at a pet ever.. lol it is a great fit so far. But I am hoping that the white marks are normal.
