Had some time to photograph the three. Not thrilled with the growth of Carlos the largest one.

Not as smooth as I would like...

Definitely more red than the salmon color he used to be.

This is the clutch mate to the above one. She's always been behind in growth.

She's starting to show more marbling.

This one has always been very smooth.

They are all beauties! Sometimes for whatever reason(s) you can have a number of torts together and one will show pyramiding while the others are smooth, same diet, same husbandry, etc. Either way that's fairly minor pyramiding so just keep up the good work and maybe he'll start to have his new growth smooth out a bit and you will barely notice it when he reaches adulthood.

Thanks! Bryan, I almost didn't post these because he looks bad. They receive the same care and food. He's always spends more time in the sun and eats way more. The really red smooth one rarely stays out for very long. I grow most of their food. They didn't eat much for a few weeks which concerned me until I realized the big fig tree was dropping fruit into their enclosure. It attracted tons of birds even pileated wood peckers. Hopefully any new growth will be smoother.

They are looking great! Bumpiness will add some character. The marbling is coming in nicely! Carl babies always have a strong tendency to marble.

They are amazing animals, nothing to be ashamed of at all IMO. I have some animals with quite a bit more pyramiding than that although all but 1 of them were like that prior to me getting them. I know that I've asked you before but sometimes my forgetter works pretty damn well! Where did you get them from? All from Carl? If so which female(s) were they from? The color on their heads is outstanding and you've done a great job of keeping them hydrated well enough so that the color hasn't dulled one bit!

Two are from Carl and one from Allegra. The two salmon colored ones from Carl are clutch mates from his triplets. Father is Moe and mother is Tambaqui. They have really darkened up and are much more red and I believe both are females. The really red headed one I believe is a male. His mother is Allegra's Oren. Her husband held him back but I got lucky and they parted with him. (I live near two amazing cherry head breeders who are incredible people) I'm a lucky guy...

Yeah they don't get any better or nicer than Carl and Allegra, two outstanding individuals with outstanding animals. All tort breeders should aspire to be like them IMO.

Brought these guys in due to storms and enclosure maintenance and took a few more photos. All three are starting to show marbling.

Curious if you'd be interested in buying my Nismo? I am trying to find a great home for him with other cherries. I've had him since a hatchling and just feel really bad that he will have to be a loner soon because he will need to be seperated from my hypo northerns.

Let me know if you'd like more info. :)

At this point I'm comfortable sticking with the three. They've been together for a few years now and as cute as Nismo is I'm not in a position to increase my group. I appreciate you thinking of me though.

The bumpy one has new growth that is coming in pretty smooth. Was hoping it would be.

Hey Charlie! Looks like my turn to say that I just read this thread and was away for a while :p

They look great! What are their stats (length, age, weight)? If you already have a thread on this, I apologize and will search for it.

@pfara no worries.
I measured them today. The largest is over 7 inches and the others are about 6 inches. The red one has turned three and the other two will be three in a few weeks. I forgot to weigh them but they are quite solid. It appears they are all female which I think is great. This way they can all stay together and I don't have to worry about them breeding.
