Haha! He wouldn't let me brush it off so I just left it there. :) when I went to pick him up at his previous owners house, the first thing he did was pee on me! And it was a lot!


I got him from a guy on craigslist who took them from people who didn't want them anymore. He had 15 sulcata's of different sizes and two leopards :) He was asking $50 and I jumped on it because they look healthy and that's a really good price!

And hopefully the massive peeing on you is a good sign of hydration in this guy. Make sure he has the opportunity to refill as it were.

Of course! I have read just about everything I can about owning a sulcata and I do look forward to the companionship he will bring for years and years to come!
