Hi, Im not on here much but im hoping to get some advice..
I have just introduced a large cherryhead male to my large cherryhead female,
And they saw each other, started head bobbing to each other..
Now they are head bobbing and the female is forcing him backwards if that makes sense.. and he is backing off, and if she gets him pinned in say a corner she either tries to bite his head or she butts him.. is this normal.. or is she telling him she doesnt like him?.... Oh and one of them is clucking...
When she walks off he follows her and the head bob starts again.. He is a little smaller than her, and he is definately male, as he showed himself in the bath!.. She is definately female, Egyptian Dan said so!!!... No she has all the correct female tail!..
About 6months ago she started mounting all my others, but they did not respond.. is she just being dominant.. or maybe as he has never seen another tortoise he is just nervous??
