I need to separate my male and female tortoises. The male is beginning I attack the female. I need some advice on what to put him in. I have them both in a glass aquarium now. My hubby I building a tort table, but what should i put him in until then. I'm scared for my female. I was thinking of putting him in a Rubbermaid tub, is that ok? If anyone has pics of their Rubbermaid habitats please share so I can have an idea.

Get the largest tote you can to put him in. Set it up the same as the set up he is in now. They won't be able to go into the table together either. Two usually isn't a good idea. Either one or more then two with lots of sight barriers.

Rubbermaid totes are great. They are fairly inexpensive and easy to set up. I used 2 of them when I went on vacation. I also plan on using them for bringing the guys in during freezing weather...not that we really get cold in TX. lol
