Well, it’s in one of the big herb groups: thyme, sage, bee balm, oregano. So in theory it should be safe but perhaps not interesting to your tortoise as it may have a strong smell.

That said it’s not a well known plant and I don’t see any record of it being fed so if you are a cautious or new owner you might want to skip it. Your tortoise would probably need to be very hungry before eating something like this anyway,

Thanks so much @RosemaryDW ! I really appreciate your taking the time to answer this and provide detail. I'll just throw away the bag that I got form Mountain Rose. I mistook it for the other Bugleweed, as I wasn't paying attention to the scientific name. Thanks again!
