Does anybody know if Western Hermann's can have Santa Barbra mix which consists of escarole,endive,radicchio,scarole?

What's a good diet plan for Western Hermann's?

They can eat all those that you mentioned. Sounds like agood mix as part of your torts diet.

The Santa Barbara mix is fine. You’ll do best to get started on diet by reading the article linked above. It will help you branch out over time. It’s a long article, in case you want to jump straight to the food section. But the author is a great expert and the entire thing is worth a read, or two!

What's a good diet plan for Western Hermann's?
Yes, they can eat that and it can be a good part of a varied diet. As with all grocery store greens, you'll need to add stuff to that to make it more suitable as tortoise food. Grocery store greens lack fiber, calcium, and sometimes have less than desirable compounds in them.

A good diet plan for any Hermann's tortoise is broad leaf weeds, leaves, and flowers of the right types. These types of foods have the calcium, fiber and nutrients needed by our tortoises. Best to grow your own, but I also scrounge from safe places too.
