Today my kids and I spent the afternoon outside with Tiny. My husband and I built a makeshift pen for us. My daughter hand fed Tiny dandelion leaves.

I know it isn't the best pen but it served our purposes for the day. Half was in the shade and the other half was in the sun.

We live on 2.5 acres outside of a metro area. We get to see all kinds of wild life. This year we have seen 2 different colors of tree frogs.

We also have wild turkeys that I still stop the car to watch. It never gets old. It drives my husband nuts. Which I can't find any pictures of. Grrrrrrr.

I have found out that we have 2 different types of black widow spiders. . Unfortunately I found 10 or so of these in1 flower bed along with 2 "normal" ones.

We have deer. . This is out my family room window.

My kids and I also saw this today. Love nature! I had never seen this in my 39 years. The first 25 were in western Kansas.

Sorry I did this in so many different sections. I had it almost completed and it disappeared.

LOVE the frogs, the deer, and even the cicada! The spider, however, not so much... *full body shiver* My daughter has a pet tarantula. I am terrified of spiders, so not sure how I allowed that one, but he makes her happy. LOL Your tort is a beauty!
