What makes you think he's got a split scute? If he does, it COULD make him a her.

Hmmmm... This is sort of a gray area for me. That scute is not 100% normal, but it isn't really an "official" split scute either.
If I was forced to make a guess, I would still guess that Louis will turn out female. I sure hope you stick around for a few years so we can all see how things develop.
