Hi Gemma:

Welcome to the Forum!!

Hermann tortoises don't come up very often in adoptions. It would help if we know where you are. Also, the Mediterranean species of tortoise don't do well in pairs. If you do find another Hermann, you would have to keep it quarantined from your existing tortoise for a period of time, and then there's no guarantee they'll get along when you put them together. Fighting can be brutal.
