Hi,
We have an 18 month year old Marginated Tortoise that we are set to hibernate via the fridge method in January..
The only logistical problem we have is the the entire apartment we live in doesn't ever drop below 19 degrees celsius even when we open the windows.
So basically we can do the wind down, and reduce enclosure temperature and starve the tortoise but it would still be a total shock for him to move from 19 degrees to 5 degrees over night.....
Does anyone have any advice? We did consider trying to find a weather proof option and move him onto the balcony for a couple of weeks...
Cheers,
Lewis
