SO I GOT THE ZILLA MINI HALOGEN BULB( bulb not included) BUT IM NOT SURE IF NIGHT RED OR DAY BLUE IS BETTER PLEASE HELP ME OUT. IM NOT SURE IF THE COLOR AFFECTS THE TORTOISE OR NOT

Is this what you bought? I'm not familiar at all with this bulb. At any rate, it doesn't provide UVB, and you need a UVB light. Your tortoise needs heat and UVB. You can get both from the light on the left below. You can get UVB only from the light on the right below, so you'd also need a heat source with that one.

About color:

I use black incandescent bulbs to provide night time heat and my tortoises aren't bothered by the little bit of light they provide. Some members have told of their tortoises eating the substrate when they use a red bulb during the day.

I think it's a moot point, since that bulb (the Zilla bulb) doesn't provide what the tortoise needs.
