I usually get my heat bulbs from Petsmart. They are the Grreat Choice Daytime Incandescent heat bulb. They have been burning out so quick lately. Wondering what other options there are. What does everyone else use?

AW: lighting issue

I use an outdoor par38 halogen bulb and it works great. I use a 100watt one I think but that might be a bit much for an indoor table.

If you don't need the bulb for UV you can just buy any flood bulb from the hardware store. I use 65 watt floods in my indoor enclosures.

I buy all of my heat bulbs from qcsupply.com but that's mainly because all of my tortoises are outside or in my shed . I haven't looked to see if they have heat bulbs less than 120watt.

The ones I buy at 1.90 a bulb and last forever! I've been very happy with them. The 250 watt bulbs put out some serious heat for being so cheap

Thanks everyone! I will be going to Home Depot today. Porky has a strip UVB bulb, this is just for heat.
