Hi! So I was having the issue of turning off the heat lamp durning the night and having the room temperature at 70 F but the humidity was super high up. I was told to leave the heat lamp on all night but now the humidity is too low.

Any Suggestions?

What species? What size tortoise? What size and type of enclosure?

I believe it’s a eastern hermann tortise, one month old and a indoor wooden enclosure

70 at night is fine for any Testudo species. Its normal for humidity to rise as temperature cools. Leave the light off at night.
