Yes your Reds N Cherries will change darker in color as it matures, Even more so if kept outside year round. Here is an example of a young pair Redfoots.....couple months old

My T Rex was a good example of this too. He was a super light hatchling, but eventually the black catches up with them. Unless we are talking hypos ;)

Now you're talking carapace color changes.. always occurs [ except those hypos ] !!!
