Hi, wonder if anyone can offer some advise for a new owner.
I inherited a Horsefield Tortoise in March , 14yrs old, who has been absolutely fine, very active, fun, eating etc . However the last week or so all he wants to do is sleep and won’t eat . If I wake him and take him out he will roam but given the choice he will just return to his log and sleep. Is this normal. Previous owner from a baby never hibernated him.
Should I worry or is it just the time of year ?
