This is Summer. She is somewhere between 2.5 and 3 yrs old. @Team Gomberg when does she turn 3?

This is Beans clutchmate, Watson. Quite a bit smaller than his brother.

Summer hatched in April 2012.. so she'll be 3 in April. ;)

Levi has the flares but Bumble Bee (summer's brother) did not.

An April baby! Now I'll remember ;)
My birthday, my middle child's birthday, several family members, and my dog Echo's birthdays are all in April.

I often have wondered if the more flared torts are more prone to lay about more, the legs against the shell more during the laying around time...vs the ones that truck all over and don't laze about as much?? Again, not saying that is it...just have always wondered...you know like when you have a baby and the baby sleeps and their ears are folded between their head and the mattress, the ears then seem to stick out away from the head more than those babies who lay with a more flat ear....in the old days folks would gently swipe the ear smooth while the baby was sleeping to avoid this from happening...(just what I have been told by some old timers)....again, just wondering :D

I would love to know too. I love your theory ascott. Could it be a male/female thing? Seems my males are flared, but my two females are not very much. The one female is a year older then my male. The other female, can't really count, as she had a ruff start with her other owner and she is under sized and couldn't walk good when I got her.

With ascotts theory, my male would fit that too. He is lazier then the other two. Hmm, interesting.
