Has anybody seen the new Reptile exhibit at the LA Zoo? I have heard it's very nice, and was wondering if anybody had some "reviews"?

Hi,
I have not been, but plan to go. I believe latimes.com had a nice review.

It is sooo amazing! I didn't get much time to look around but it was really cool, too many crowds :/

I'll be going to it in late September 2012. I am fortunate, one of my nephews is one of the curators of the reptile house there and I get the behind the scene tour. I'll let you know what I think.

Going this Friday. $14 a person - not bad. I'll post some pix too!

Went a couple of weeks ago. They did a great job. Beautiful habitats and lots of healthy animals, including a big CDT, two Burmese stars, and a spider tort. The best was the giant Chinese salamander - super weird. I think I've got some photos still left on the camera. I'll find them and upload.

I wonder if they will sell the Stars :)

Funny, they're what inspired me to purchase my stars. ;)

Ooh, I have an idea - All of us So-Cal folks should get together and take a fieldtrip to the new exhibit.

So while down in the Southern California area last week, I didn't go to the zoo. It was my plan to go, but with all the out of town family that were there, it had the makings of becoming a circus all it's own. I didn't want to do that to my nephew. Instead, I went to his house and played with his gallopogas and Sulcata's. mind you those are BIG Sulcata's in the background.
