Hahaha, so true... They tend to go *through* things rather than around them. I'm convinced the only reason they climb anything is because it's too big to move, so they're forced to go over rather than through!I have seen adult desert tortoises pushover small trees that they either did not like or in their way. it's just something tortoises do.
sounds like she's trained you wellI agree as well. My RT likes to knock things over because she knows if she's loud enough, I come over to check on her and might give her something to eat.
why eat outdoors when you can have it delivered in?Haha! Yep. My nearly 3 yr olds do the same. Plow through everything.
Another thing they do that drives me bananas, they barely eat in their outdoor enclosure despite having explored in it often. The SECOND I transplant outdoor plants into their INDOOR enclosure, they utterly destroy them! They eat every last bite! I'm like, "hey guys, you DO know you could've ate these same plants outside?"
Take away delivery!why eat outdoors when you can have it delivered in?
And over the food and plants (oh, my poor pretty plants!!!)Yep. Agreed. Mine always takes the shortest/quickest route...usually it involves going through his water bowl!
Now that's one smart cookie! A tortoise that actually plots for things to happen in the future to her advantage. Hmmmm.I agree as well. My RT likes to knock things over because she knows if she's loud enough, I come over to check on her and might give her something to eat.
