Juicing and soaking.

I 'Juice' a lot of our fruits and veggies. I have a really nice Juicer that is very effective.

So, on the subject of soaking our shelled children; I was thinking about Juicing greens and carrots regularly (once or twice a week) to add to their soaks. It's liquid rather than puree.

I know that healthy torts don't "need" it but it couldn't hurt, in my opinion.

Any thoughts?

No, I don't think it will hurt anything if its somewhat diluted with water.

My wife was into juicing for a while. I would take the big glob of left over pulp stuff and mix it all in with my adult sulcatas food.

My husband juices. I thought about using the pulp to add into food, but I thought the nutrients of the food was taken when juiced?

I don't have any idea of the nutrient content of the leftover pulp. I just figured it was probably a bunch of fiber and some good tasting variety for them. I mixed a handful of the stuff into a 5 gallon bucket full of grass and weeds, so it was a tiny percentage of the meal for that day.

I've just been throwing mine in compost to feed my plants with. The torts eat it eventually lol

Diluted juice baths for all my torts today. Carrots, kale, grass from my yard and romaine mixed with warm water.
