So my little guy is about 7-8 months old. I got him about 2 months ago. He does this thing when he eats that I can't find any information on. He stretches out his back legs but only when eating, is that normal for a hermann??20220717_175411.jpg

Try giving him a feeding dish. Like a clay saucer with low sides or a piece of slate tile and normal substrate to stand on and see if he still does it. That wood looks slippery and may be why he does it.

Thank you. I normally feed him out of his enclosure to really get a sense of how much he's eating plus I LOVE watching him eat, it is adorable, but here is what he's living in right now.
