Hi,
I have Shining Cranesbill Geraniums growing all over my garden. My question is, are they OK to feed a young horsefield? I have been pulling them up for years and if they are safe il start watering them 😃. No flowers on them yet. Just leaves. I've attached picture to show you them. Also what weeds does the uk have that have the most nutritional value?

It is definitely a Geranium ssp. and does appear to be Geranium lucidum (Shinning or Shiny Cranesbill Geranium). However, I am not an expert on the differences between this one and the various other weedy geraniums. Regardless, I believe it to be a Geranium ssp., and thus safe to feed.

My tortoises do not eat Geranium ssp. and I have plenty in the winter here. One of my Burmese Stars ate it as a baby, but no longer touches it. Unfortunate. They will get some when I mix it really good, but if they can pick around it, they will.
