So of course i believe i have a male and female leopard torts but i also have quail i want a incubator that will do both not at the same time of course
What do you mean at the same time ? A versatile incubator that can do both types of eggs? As far as the same time ......ummm won't work . Different temps .....and humidity level requirements . Also any type of bird eggs will need to be rotated once every 12 hours ....so an Auto- egg turner is in call. It can be done by hand with marked eggs, but this disrupts your incubators "constants" (heat/humidity/O2 levels) every time you open it up to flip your bird eggs.....
and just for some trivia .....as I have hatched many of both birds and torts. You could have 5 generations of birds by the time you end up with just one tortoise baby hatching. In the tortoise breeding world ...."Patience" is the key ....
(and very hard to restrain from even as an adult) .....
No i wouldn't do it at the sametime lol but yes i kmow quail eggs must be turend 3 times a day and boy i get alot of eggs and there tasty as well i cant wait till my torts ar old enough to have babies there so adorable
LOL .....no not this year ....although last year I got a hair up my *** and hatched out a few baby Indian runners ...I wanted to share them with folks on the forum here, as I used to talk about them. As the story goes .. one of my mentors many years back with torts ...on a visit to see him these darn ducks (none like I have ever seen) kept following me around his place . I was fascinated by their looks and demeanor. They stand erect and are flightless. Anyhow I learned as much as I could about them and use to breed those ....as well as the quail , some high end finches, peacocks and a few dozen or so parrot species.
