My first guess by the legs would be Redfoot, but the carapace looks like some kinda boxie. Sorry I'm not much help. Pretty turtle though [SMILING FACE WITH OPEN MOUTH]

Looks like a box turtle, maybe an ornate or a three toed.

I concur completely. But without seeing the bottom of the shell we might not know

Hmmm okay, it's my anatomy teachers turtle. She also has 5 water turtles, a couple of snakes, lizards, bunnies, and a chinchilla. Ohh and fish! Haha all in her classroom :p

It's a box turtle. My guess is a three toed.

Originally I had wanted a turtle exactly like hers, but I didn't know what it was and she told me it was a russian :O
And that's how I ended up with two russian torts!

It's no doubt a 3toed. If you could provide a body shot I could tell you whether it's male or female. It is colorful but I have plenty of females with just as much color so I wouldn't rule that out.
