Is this an aldabra tortoise?
What should I do with it, and if i decide to keep it, how should I handle it?
Does it need a friend? What are the best surroundings? And diet? :D

Hi, and welcome to the Forum!

I think we're going to have to see more pictures, different angles. Aldabran babies are usually black or dark brown, and don't usually have such a high domed shell. I'm leaning away from it being an Aldabran tortoise. where did it come from? ...and no, it doesn't need a friend.

That is a Greek tortoise (Testudo graeca ssp) it seems. Plastron shots would help out much more.

Hey! Thanks for you fast reply :)
what other could it be then an aldabra?
It's greyish green, , i found it in my garden, tel aviv - israel. It doesnt want to eat anything for days already.
it walks quite fast
as u see the lines around the shapes on his back are higher than the shapes themselves.
he doesnt hide his head when we pick him up. only a little

Are u housing him in something or leaving him where you found him? What ever it is, he needs to be able to warm himself up under a heat source that will get up to at least 95 degrees even upto 100 degrees. The rest of the area he is in should get to 80. He is a baby, so I would soak him in some warm water for 20-30 minutes every day and make sure he has a shallow water dish and water available 24/7.

Im currently housing him in a plant box, but i want to make a nice home for him , once I know what to do.
If i put him inside the house (it's 30 degrees inside) and at one side of the box i hang lamp closeby over it .. would it be ok for now until i get a better house?
I will do the water-things you told me about .

Definitely a Greek, especially if you live in Israel. My graeca knowledge isn't great, but I would think due to this being a Jordanian Greek IMO, that it would not hibernate-I may be wrong though.

It's a Greek for sure and is not able to be accurately sexed at this age.
