Hi my tortoises birthday is on the 1 of march and its his second birthday. I need some ideas to make a cake and I want it to be perfect but i didn't know what to put in it so come on here to ask. I was going to do fruit but its not the best for Rio to eat. I hope u all can help. xx

Perhaps you could get some of this stuff and mush it into a cake shape? Could decorate it with different greens lol

Most tortoises should not eat fruit...MY Redfoot eats fruit, but my other torts cannot...what is your tort species? Also, that animal doesn't give a whit about having a birthday...that's a human thing...plus it looks like you know he shouldn't have fruit...Use some sort of squash as a treat to celebrate...if you need to...

Ooo you could even grate a tiny bit of carrot confetti on top of this for a pop of colour! But yeah as mentioned above, don’t use any fruit

Maybe a squash or cucumber cake with pellets as filling?

Hello!
Maybe you can get a small squash/zucchini/courgette or cucumber and cut it in round slices to make a "base". Put layers of mushed tasty pellets like Hikari Mulberrific between slices and then decorate with rehydrated flowers from flower toppers like Arcadia Flowerboost. Both pellets and flower topper can be fed later for more "birthday mood"

Finally getting round to posting my take on a tortoise cakeArcadia pressed tortoise food, with red chicory and carrot confetti, you could use a squash to cut the ‘1’ lol, hope you like it!!
