ideas on fair price?

Is there any way to gauge what I should pay for an indoor enclosure? I just adopted a sully and the person who used to own him has a 4x4 enclosure with all the lamps and heating pads for sale. I'm not sure what to offer him for it.

His stepfather built it and says it cost about $150 not including lights and heaters.

So many ways to look at that. How much would you like to build your own? On the other hand its used. How good of shape is it in?

It really boils down to how much it is worth to you and how bad the person wants to get rid of it.

Yeah I figured. I don't mind building my own. I go to look at it Wednesday and see the shape it's in.

Also think about how long will the enclosure be useable before the sulcata out grows it.
