That makes so much more sense than my dumb a$$ guessIs it some sort of mud or mist turtle? Maybe Oaxaca mud turtle??? I don’t know? ?
You are almost there ?It like a mix between Sacalia and Mauremys! LOL
TBH I am absolutely wanting this turtle! It beautiful!!You are almost there ?
unfortunately, I think this is true of most chelonians at least Genus wise if not Family. That's why I think it is important for responsible breeding as habitat distruction leaves many tortoises' survival in the hands of breeders. Breeders can very well make tortoise species extinct with true pure species breeding not being important. Most folks who get chelonians don't know what they have as we can see with ID such a challenge even on this forum. Today when you order a mississippi map, no telling what you really are getting - mississippi x ouachita x false, etc, etc. Hate to see that happen with turtles so rare in the hobby like Sacalia.OK, here’s the correct answer .
Cyclemys dentata x Sacalia quadriocellata
...........
it seems like you can shuffle and hybrid any species from the family Geoemydidae
