The timing of the pic was great. Now just an hour later, it has broken the top part of the shell off and now is ready for the world..

It is a very precious thing to see.
I consider myself very fortunate as I get to witness the miracle of birth not only with the tortoises, but also with my snakes, geckos, bearded dragons and chameleons.
