Do you Gus think that my red eared slider will do well in a pond next to my house? Because he is getting big and my other one is too. They are healthy and I think they will do well what do you guys think?

If you have the space for a nice sized pond, I say go for it. Just make sure that it is secure from predators and escapes, they are good escape artists.

RES get so large I personally believe they should be kept outside anyway.

Awesome....is it designed to allow him to hibernate during your winters? or will you still need to bring him in for winter months?

My two RESs are still good size for inside...however, eventually I will need to make a MUCH BIGGER habitat for them, likely in a couple of years....

Good luck and pics would be fantastic :D
