Don't be so hard on yourself, as long as you're trying to make it right, it's all good! one thing you could do for his diet is add zoo med to his greens, there's some good stuff in there! I would soak my zoo med in water for a minute or two and then rub it all over my collard greens, mustard greens, turnip greens, and kale. You can pretty much get all of those things at walmart or a super market near by. The zoo meds can be found in a pet store also. I personally don't add calcium to my diet, i feel like they get it enough from the greens but its really up to you.
