Humidifier and Tortoise Enclosure

Hi, I have a baby (< 6 months old) red-footed tortoise. I use the Forest Floor Natural Cypress Mulch bedding in a ZooMed tortoise enclosure box. The box divider is getting very moist at the bottom and making the wood very weak. I use a humidifier and run it 24/7 at the lowest setting. Although I know that tortoises need a moist area, I fear it is getting too moist because it is rotting the wood. Should I cut back on running my humidifier less often? Thanks in advance for your help.
