Built this outside enclosure for Tum Tum today. Any criticism welcomed to improve it. Plan on using it for when we can't keep an eye on him that way he can still get sun.[ImageUploadedByTortoise Forum1472857345.137973.jpgATTACH=full]185632[/ATTACH]

It looks like nobody commented on your new box back in September. I missed this post, but I think it looks great. I don't have any criticism, but my word of caution would be to watch the temperature in there very carefully, to make sure he doesn't over heat in full sun.

Yea we were constantly checking on him and hosing his area down. We gave him a small piece and he ate it all up, it was his first non leafy/green item he has had.

I would put the box half in the sun and half out of the sun if it is moveable.

Wait... how did you get him in that pumpkin?! Either the top hole is very large or your tort is very small! :) Super cute.

The way the box is and the angle the sun rises there's usually always some shade in there and the door on the left also creates some shade, but will definitely keep that in mind.

He's small:), we've had him/her for 9 months and were told he was about 3 months when we got it. Just hit the 1lb mark a few weeks ago.
