How much is too much (weight gain)

I have 4 month old Horsefield tort, how much weight should they gaining per month, and what is the least amount for me to be concerned. Our girl has gained 8 in 4 week,

There is no norm. As long as they are gaining it's a good thing. Losing a couple isn't bad as long as it's gained back and doesn't keep dropping

If you could help in a quick question I'd appreciate it. I pick dandelions once or twice a week as a treat for my torts but I noticed green fly yesterday and concernd I've harmed them

Tortoises can eat aphids. Won't hurt them.

Aphids do no harm. As a rough guide, you should be giving him a mound of food roughly the size of his shell.

It's not an exact science. Their appetite varies and sometimes they'll eat more than others - especially if they're growing
