How do I clear my alerts & in box?

I don't like having my 'read' stuff sitting there in my in box or alert space. I want all that stuff outta there! It's my obsessive/compulsive side showing through.

Thank you, Josh! I don't know what you did, but I like that it now says, "You have no new alerts" instead of showing all the alerts I had already read. I doubt you can do that with the conversations because they are probably going to be ongoing.

AND MY PRETTY LITTLE RED HEART IS BACK!!! YIPPEE!
