Finally! It took longer that I expected, but it turned out better than I expected.

Pen size 8x2. The bottom holds a bar, storage and a cooler. Two drawers open up to give me desk space. Hoshi gets 20inch x 8 feet play area out of which one foot is his hiding house.

Plants are real indoor plants that survive in the Aircon. One 5.0 UVB tube and one Powersun 100W MVB. All else is around the house stuff.

I'm having trouble getting the pics to show here. I uploaded them on Picassa and inserted the links but it doesn't seem to work. Any suggestions?

Here is a link to the album New House

The pictures are only showing up for me if I right-click and open to a new tab. Wow, that is spacious! It looks so clean!
What is the substrate you are using on the right side?

Your tortoise is beautiful! What's with the Jenga pieces??

Chikat - I'm using some local coconut coir. It's quite rough and my tort's walked his way into it (not on it) so I fear he can get stuck easily. I'm going to replace it today and only use it once he's bigger in size.

BTW _ can anyone tell if Hoshi's a Male/Female?

Care to share age & size of tort? Is it a CB?
Thanks.

That's taking tortoise keeping to the next level! Not only is it spacious but it's also quite esthetically pleasing!

Great job! Did you build it yourself - or just convert an old bar? Either way looks great.

Tortbrain - He/she is about 40grams. Age is unknown but I'm guessing 6-8 months?! Last I checked the length was 2 inchs.

Snakeyez - I built it new.

If anyone can help me with sex would be appreciated!!

Cheers!

Hi Batman:

Wow! You've given Hoshi quite a bit of room. It has very clean lines. Do you have trouble heating the whole area? I like the little cut-out in the shape of a tortoise to enter the house. Cute.
