Hi everyone, I am from South Africa. I know aabsolutely nothing about these animals. I have now got, what I think is a Leopard. Not too sure, so hoping people on this forum could assist me to identify it correctly.

Yes that is a leopard and a very beautiful one I might add. Welcome to the forum. Can you tell us how you were able to acquire this gorgeous tort? Wondering if it is a wild caught one or a captive bred one?

That is a really nice looking leopard. A lot of Leopards pattern sort of bleeds out as they grow but they one has beautiful markings!

Hi Everyone, thanks for the welcome and the quick responses. This is a ."wild" tortoise. He...She was walking down the middle of the motorway in the Free State province when I came across it. I believe their are 2 types of leopards found here...not too sure which one I have or whether it is male or female. Am also looking for any info regarding its natural diet.
