I just wanted to say "Hi" to everyone. I have 2 Russian Tortoises, both male and they love each other so much. Their names are "Crush" and "Wall-E". They are both rescues, Crush is at least 20yr old and Wall-E is a youngster at 2yr of age.
Crush was found in someones garage and they thought he was a native tortoise (he he) and was brought to me. I tried for a long time to find his previous owner but no one could claim him. He has very distinct markings on his carapace from some sort of damage that was not cause by an animal (it's too straight and parallel).
Wall-E was owned by a family who purchased him for their daughter and she lost interest. He's still adjusting to his new diet (he was on iceburg and romain lettuce) but is doing very well!
I have attached a pic of my bachelors and their enclosure (only 1 in the enclosure at the time as Wall-E was still in quartentine)
