hey i found these turtles online, and i know there are some people on here who are into turtles, but is this healthy? its kinda sad for some reason. i mean that cant be good, right? maybe im wrong

It looks to be a deformity...who knows if it could affect them long-term (shortened life span due to stress?). Looks kinda sad though. I hope it wasn't intentional and just an oddity such as a two-headed turtle.

i hope so too, but something tells me otherwise. i hope people do not continure to breed these so their offspring will have the same traits. i cant imagine how that could effect their internal organs with exposure to uvb. and other problems.

Very interesting turtles. My favorite are the albino just because they're not actually suffering from any deformity that endangers their life (except for lack of camouflage in the wild.)
