I saw this ad on Kingsnake. Is this true? Are there really such small Redfoots?

Terry, there are RFs on Grenada and many other Carribean islands. They are not native but were brought to the islands as food for the slaves. I feel that given ample food, they will reach the normal size. They may be as interesting because of history of our sometimes pathetic species but that is about it.

Yes and no.

On the islands they are dwarfed for some reason but in captivity they do attain sizes up to 8 or 9 inches but still smaller than the main land Redfoots.
