Hermanns tortoise outdoor year round

Can I keep a Hermanns tortoise outdoor year round in Kentucky? I have some Russian tortoises that do well but I’m not sure about the Hermanns

Probably depends on how you house your russians?
The two species can not be housed together and if it gets too cold, they will either try to hibernate or you need to heat them, same for russians.

I have an outdoor enclosure with a few hides that they burrow into when it gets cold

No I wouldn't. Russians are tough and prefer to cool off at night...Hermanni want nighttime heat...I believe

I’m in Indianapolis and I keep my eastern and western Hermann’s outside year round. You should be fine if you do the same as you do for your Russians.
